History
Longtime best friends
John Sumas and Barry Goldenberg always envisioned opening a business together.
John, a supermarket executive, and Barry, a professional and commercial
photographer, never had a chance to fulfill their dream until four years ago.
In September 2012, they established a partnership and opened Bohemian
Raspberry. Bohemian Raspberry is a locally owned and operated coffee, juice,
and self-serve frozen yogurt shop in Westfield, NJ. The business provides a lax
environment where customers can enjoy casual music, a lounge area, and free
Wi-Fi. Bohemian Raspberry primarily serves local Union County residents who
look for top-quality products and unmatched customer service for a great price.
Bohemian Raspberry offers 16 different flavors of frozen yogurt including
sorbets, ice creams, fat-free, and no-sugar-added options. Customers may ask
for free samples for any flavor. After they choose a flavor and a cup size,
customers create their own dishes with yogurt and toppings. After the yogurt is
complete, customers weigh their dish and the total cost is determined by
multiplying $0.49 per ounce by the number of ounces.
